Fusion Hockey is run by Lexington resident Kevin Lane, a USA Hockey Level IV Certified Coach.
Kevin's passion for hockey started as a 9 year old after watching his cousin's youth hockey game in Medford. Starting a little older than most kids, Kevin was a bit behind the curve. However, like a fish to water, Kevin took to the game quickly, becoming a premier youth, and high school player (Pope Francis/New Prep) before ultimately being recruited to play collegiately (Plattsburgh State).
As a player Coach Kevin's greatest strength was his skating and agility. In today's game skating more than anything is the differentiator between being a good player and being a great player.
At Fusion Hockey Kevin continues to preach the mantra of "skating first" to all his camp participants.
Watertown MA born and current Hopkinton native Chris Delaney was an outstanding amateur player that won several State Championships at Catholic Conference powerhouse Catholic Memorial while playing alongside former longtime Boston Bruin and current Harvard Head coach Ted Donato.
After high school Coach Chris went on to star at Bowdoin College in the NESCAC and then play professionally in Europe. He has extensive experience training elite youth players having coached at such elite clubs as the Jr,. Islanders, Boston Jr. Blues Blue Chip Selects and the Jr Bruins Brick Invitational Team.
Like Coach Kevin, Coach Chris believes skating and extensive edge work training are the key building blocks to developing successful players.
At Fusion Hockey, Coach Chris leads all efforts in skating, edgework and overspeed training.
